I enjoyed the room, it was airy and with a fan, the outside bedrooms, for instance. The stunning and peaceful location was close to St Andrew's Church. There was a main bar. Actually everything was really good, my next choice again in Gateshead.

The hotel here was clean and wonderful, and we really enjoyed our brilliant room with a good view, plus the fantastic location close to the Angel of the North and Beamish museum made it even better.

I loved 1 night in this property. It had all needed for a short stay in Gateshead. - the most important was the staff - pleasant and polite people. - Generally everything was great. - the location was fab, close to fields and the Angel of the North. - the main bar was a delightful surprise. The rooms are warm, the staff are very friendly and very helpful, the food is good as is the wine and you can park your car very close to the room for free.
